To set up an appointment for assessment, Shevaya Wellness works with patients who may or may not have been referred by the treating physician. Patients who are unable to obtain a referral from their current physician will still need to provide a summary of their medical condition. A physician at Shevaya Wellness will treat each patient with care to determine whether cannabis or cannabinoids in clinical practice is the right treatment

1) WELLNESS ASSESSMENT
Begin with a conversation. Our wellness specialists can help you navigate what to expect and help you to develop additional solutions for complete wellness.
2) PHYSICIAN ASSESSMENT
Patients will meet with the physician for a medical evaluation. The assessment determines the eligibility for cannabis/cannabinoids in clinical practice. If eligible, cannabis and/or cannabinoids will be prescribed. Patient follow up is set to a cycle of every 3 months.
3) CANNABIS WELLNESS SUPPORT GUIDE
Patients who are prescribed cannabis will meet with consult with a CWSG to better understand Cannabis as a Medicine and to select a legal cannabis supplier to meet their needs. We help patients understand how to safely and comfortably integrate cannabis into their lives.
4) LICENSED COMMERCIAL PRODUCER ORDERING PROCESS
Across Canada Medical Cannabis is only available through Licensed Producers, which is heavily regulated by Health Canada, and must comply with strict quality and security standards. Once you receive an email from the select LP, you will be able to order online or via telephone.
5) RECEIVING CANNABIS
Currently, medical cannabis is sent to the patient by secure courier to the address provided on the selected Licensed Producer registration form.

After booking your appointment, you must complete the required documents prior to arriving at the clinic. If you are unable to complete them at home, please arrive early to complete the documents at the centre.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. If you miss your appointment or cancel without 48 hours notice, cancellation and missed appointment fees apply.
Payment for clinic fees related to your appointment
To refer patients, simply fax or e-mail us a Shevaya Referral Form, along with a summary of the patient’s medical file and list of past and current medications.
Your patient will be assessed for the use of medical cannabis or cannabinoids according to guidelines established by the Collège des Médecins du Québec, and Health Canada’s Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR).
Medical cannabis and cannabinoids require a lot of understanding and navigating to successfully integrate into patient care and practice.
